Medical Staff in Zigong Organize Voluntary Blood Donation Activity to Deliver Warmth and Hope
During the sweltering summer season, a heartfelt act of kindness brought a special warmth. Under the organization and guidance of the Party Branch, our hospital’s voluntary blood donation activity was successfully carried out. Before the event, colleagues actively signed up and made appointments. Everyone adjusted their schedules, took care of their health, arranged their work properly, and waited for the activity with great enthusiasm.

At 8:00 in the morning, the blood donation vehicle arrived at the hospital on time. Despite the intense summer heat, everyone’s enthusiasm and compassion remained undiminished. Party members and leading cadres took the lead in participating, while clinical medical staff, administrative and logistics personnel also actively joined. Everyone lined up voluntarily and orderly, cooperating with registration, blood pressure measurement, preliminary blood screening, blood collection and donation procedures. The entire event proceeded smoothly, filled with warmth and care.
Working on the front line of healthcare for many years, we understand better than anyone the preciousness of blood. In our daily work, we often witness critically ill patients urgently needing blood transfusions and see them bravely fighting against illness and suffering. We truly understand that every bag of warm blood represents hope and support for life.

Beyond the identity and honor of wearing the white coat, we are also ordinary people with kindness and compassion.
During this activity, there were not only veteran colleagues who have donated blood for many years, but also young medical workers who made their first contribution of love. What was especially touching was that two heartwarming moments occurred at the scene: a patient’s family member from one ward learned about the blood donation activity by chance and came specifically to participate; Comrade Qiao from the Medical Insurance Department and her husband also came together to donate blood, conveying love through their actions.

Guided and encouraged by the Party Branch, everyone quietly contributed their efforts, putting the compassion and kindness of medical professionals into practice. Drops of warm blood slowly gathered together, becoming a stream of warmth that protects lives and preserving the touching image of healthcare workers’ compassion.
