May 16, 2026, Beijing — Under the global spotlight of the field of oncology treatment, the inaugural academic conference of the World Ablation Therapy Association officially opened. Professor Xiao Yueyong, chair of the conference, delivered the opening address and extended a warm welcome to leading experts and scholars in the field of ablation from around the world. Several top international experts also took the stage to speak, engaging in in-depth exchanges on the future trends of minimally invasive cancer treatment. Witnessed by all attendees, “World Ablation Day” was released globally for the first time. Masters of tumor ablation from around the world pressed their handprints in sequence, officially launching this milestone event and symbolizing the firm determination and shared commitment of the global medical community to work together against cancer.

The conference also announced the first list of “World Ablation Association Training Bases.” With its long-term dedication, accumulated technical expertise, and outstanding clinical contributions in the field of tumor ablation, UNI-ASIA Cancer Hospital was honorably selected, becoming one of the first medical institutions worldwide to receive this international certification.
